GOST 9941-81 12X18H12T is a cold/warm-worked seamless stainless steel pipe under the Russian standard. It is essentially a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel, equivalent to AISI 321. GOST 9941-81 specifically refers to cold-drawn/cold-rolled tubes. If hot-rolled tubes are required, the corresponding standard is GOST 9940-81.

Its core characteristics include resistance to intergranular corrosion, high-temperature resistance, and good mechanical properties, making it specifically suitable for pressure-bearing and corrosion-resistant environments.

- GOST 9941-81: Former Soviet Union / Russian national standard specifically for cold- and warm-formed seamless corrosion-resistant steel tubes. It specifies strict dimensional tolerances, mechanical properties, and testing requirements (e.g., hydraulic, eddy current, intergranular corrosion testing).

- 12X18H12T: Steel grade (Cyrillic). The approximate composition is: 0.12% Carbon, 17–19% Chromium, 11–13% Nickel, Titanium (approx. 0.6–0.7%). Titanium is added to prevent intergranular corrosion during welding or high-temperature service.
